Councillor Cormac Devlin has advised local residents of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council's intention of new Road Saferty Improvements along Convent Road, Harbour Road and Loreto Avenue. The plans will be going on display from Tuesday 5th February until Tuesday 26th February. The drawings will be available for viewing at;

The proposals include;
* Speed control ramps along Convent Road
* Relocation of the ESB poles on Convent Road to the back of the footpath
* Extending the width of the existing footpath (between Corrig Road and Harbour Road) on Convent Road
* A raised platform at the proposed school warden crossing on Harbour Rd
* Alter the kerb lines and increase the corners of the footpaths at junctions of; Harbour Road & Harbour Crescent, Harbour Road & Loreto Avenue
* The provision of a Drop Off / Set Down Area for vehicles on Harbour Road
* Install new dipped kerbs and tactile paving at the various crossing points
