EDEN PARK RECYCLING
CENTRE COMPLETION

February 2006

Having been at the Eden Park Recycling Centre Councillor Devlin placed the following question down at an Area Meeting:

Question:Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to finish the construction of the wall and fence around the Eden Park Recycling Centre because currently the site is not secure as there is a large space between the ground and the fence?

Reply:
The space between the ground and the railing is secured by a chainlink fence.  A low level masonry wall is planned for this space.  However, this was omitted last November so that the Bring Centre would be open to the public for Christmas.

The surface in the car park and bring centre is being considered for renewal this year and the masonry wall may be included with that work subject to reasonable price from the Contractor.
