UN-BLOCK DRAIN ON
ROCHESTOWN PARK

Local Councillor for the area, Cormac Devlin asked the Council to un-block a drain outside #18 Rochestown Park as this drain is not working correctly.


Question:Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to repair the section footpath along Rochestown Park particularly outside #3, #7, #14 & #24 as they are un-safe for pedestrians?

Reply:
These footpaths will have temporary repairs carried out in the next few weeks.  They are not on the Footpath Restoration Programme for 2007.  However, it may be possible to carry out repairs, if resources become available.

O'ROURKE PARK TRAFFIC ISLANDS
CAN THEY BE LANDSCAPED OR
COBBLESTONED? - DEVLIN

Local Councillor for Sallynoggin, Cormac Devlin has asked the Council to investigate the possability of landscaping/cobblestoning the traffic islands in O'Rourke Park because currently they are just made of tarmac and look quite dull.



Question:Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to either landscape or cobblestone the various traffic Islands in the O'Rourke Park estate in Sallynoggin as these improvements would significantly enhance the area?


Reply:
These works are not include din the 2007 programme, however the various options will be costed in consultation with the Council’s Park Departments and it may be possible to include the works in the 2008 programme.
