After countless complaints about the poor condition of Killiney Road and its footpaths, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has confirmed that it will be carrying out road and footpath repairs along Killiney Road (between the junction of Ballinclea Road and Avondale Park) from Monday 5th February until Saturday 24th February.

As a result of this, a traffic diversion will be put in place. Click here to view the map.

The diversion routes routes are as follows;

* Avondale Park to Avondale Road, onto Cluny Grove and onto Ballinclea Road

* Barnhill Road to Saval Park Road, onto Dalkey Avenue and vice versa.

Although the above traffic management plan will be in place, local/residential access will be maintained at all times.

If any resident wishes to make a (free) submission/observation about the above plans, they must do so in writing before Monday 29th January, 2018 at 12pm (Noon) to;

The Senior Engineer,
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council
County Hall
c/o The Traffic Section
Marine Road
Dún Laoghaire

You can also email your observations to traffic@dlrcoco.ie

For all queries relating to the proposed works, please call the Traffic Section directly (01) 205 4375.
