DEVLIN EXPRESSES DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE ANNOUNCEMENT BY STENA LINE ABOUT
HSS WITHDRAWAL FROM DÚN LAOGHAIRE HARBOUR:

Fianna Fáil Councillor, Cormac Devlin has said "I am very disappointed that Stena Line have confirmed today that they will no longer operate the HSS between Dún Laoghaire & Holyhead. A ferry service has operated on this route for more than 170 years. The withdrawal of this service marks the end of an era and represents a significant blow to Dún Laoghaire Town. In light of this, all stakeholders must re-double their efforts to ensure that our harbour remains an active and prominent part of both the commercial and social fabric of our County Town".

NEW SOCIAL HOUSING PLANS FOR GLENAGEARY & SALLYNOGGIN SITES:
Fianna Fáil Councillor, Cormac Devlin has advised local residents about a Council proposal to build on two sites in the Glenageary (Park Close) and Sallynoggin (Sallynoggin Park) sites for 10 and 4 units respectively. To view these plans, please click here

DEVLIN SELECTED TO RUN IN NEXT GENERAL ELECTION:
Councillor Cormac Devlin has been selected by the members of the local Fianna Fáil organisation. With over 140 delegates in attendance at Fitzpatrick's Castle Hotel, Killiney, Cllr. AN BORD PLEANÁLA APPROVES LIDL ON FORMER DEERHUNTER SITE:
An Bord Pleanála have overturned the decision to refuse permission by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council recently. The Bord have given approval for the plans for the former Deerhunter site. The plan will see a 5 story x 140 bed nursing home, a Lidl supermarket, a medical centre with 150 car parking spaces on the site. For more information please click here
