FRASCATI SHOPPING CENTRE TO BE REDEVELOPED
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council have given the owners of the Frascati Shopping Centre in Blackrock to approval for a multi-million redevelopment of their centre. To view the plans please click here

CREMATORIUM PROPOSAL NEXT TO SHANGANAGH CEMETERY, SHANKILL
Council officials from Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council have unveiled plans for a crematorium next to the existing Shanganagh Cemetery in Shankill. The plans are available for viewing here. You can make a submission for free. If you have any questions please contact Cormac.

NEW TRAFFIC PLAN FOR MONKSTOWN VILLAGE
The Council is proposing a new traffic plan for Monkstown Village. Cllr. Devlin has welcomed aspects but believes that local residents, businesses and road users will have issues with elements of it. COUNCIL TO RE-DEVELOP ST ANNE'S SQUARE CORNER SITE:
In March 2009 a gas explosion damaged 3 houses on the corner of St Anne's Square in the heart of Blackrock town. Since then Cllr. Devlin has made repeated calls to re-develop this site in order to provide much needed housing for families. In early May the Council confirmed that they hope to bring a plan before Councillors in June to re-build 3 houses on this site. Stayed informed & sign up to his e-bulletin.

BLACKROCK PARK MASTER PLAN DUE OUT IN SEPTEMBER:
In reply to a question, the Council confirmed to Cormac that the details of the revised Master Plan          (previous one 2007) for Blackrock Park will be published in September. DEVLIN RAISES CONCERNS ABOUT DERELICT SWIFTCALL BUILDING:
Cllr. Cormac Devlin, An Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has requested the Council to write to Dublin City Council to ask them to write to the owners of the former Swiftcall building on the Rock Road in order to have all graffiti removed from the facade of the building.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION LAUNCHED FOR MERRION GATE / ROCK ROAD INTERSECTION:
Cllr. Devlin is advising commuters to have their say on the proposed Merrion Gate / Rock Road plans. The National Transporation Authority (NTA) have published plans to up-grade this junction. All submissions are free and must be made before Friday 16th December at 5pm. For more click here

CORMAC TAKES  ON THE "A DAY IN MY WHEELS" CHALLENGE
