IMPROVED RE-DESIGN FOR KILLINEY TOWERS ROUNDABOUT

Councillor Devlin has welcomed the improved re-design for the Killiney Towers Roundabout stating that a huge amount of residents have complained about the waste of money, lack of need for the change in the first place and why no consulatation had taken place. DEVLIN REQUESTS ROAD REPAIRS IN
HILLSIDE, BARNHILL AVENUE, MAPAS ROAD, MAPAS AVENUE, DALKEY PARK,
SAVAL PARK GARDENS & BARNHILL PARK:

Councillor Devlin has requested that the poor road surfaces on the above roads are placed on the Council's Road Maintenance Programme for 2013. If your road is in poor condition you can report it to the Council by click here or contacting Cllr Devlin directly about the issue
CONFUSION &  ANXIETY SETS IN AS NEW PROPERTY TAX LETTERS
FROM REVENUE ARRIVES TO HOUSEHOLDERS:

Cllr. Devlin has stated that there is genuine "concern and anxiety" about the letters being received from the Revenue Commissioners in relation to the online calculator for self assessment process. Click here

DEVLIN ADVISES LOCAL RESIDENTS ABOUT PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON
2 PROPOSED WIND FARMS OFF DUBLIN COASTLINE

Fianna Fáil Councillor Cormac Devlin has advised local residents to famalarise themselves with the proposed plans for 2 wind farms 10km off the coastline at the Kish & Bray Banks. For more click here

DEVLIN ADVISES DALKEY RESIDENTS' ABOUT TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES:

Local Councillor Cormac Devlin has advised residents' of The Paddocks (off Ulverton Road) and also at Sorrento Lawn (off Sorrento Road), Dalkey. The Council proposes to temporarily close Sorrento Lawn to through traffic from Monday 23rd Sept - Friday 4th Oct  & also at The Paddocks from Monday 30th Sept - Friday 11th Oct (all dates inclusive). The purpose of these closures is to facilitate road restoration works and a traffic management plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained. Localised short-term arrangements will be agreed with residents to facilitate these works. PUBLIC CONSULTATION LAUNCHED ON BADESHIFF PROJECT (FLOATING POOL)
WITHIN THE DÚN LAOGHAIRE HARBOUR AREA

DEVLIN ADVISES RESIDENTS' ABOUT THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF
CASTLEPARK ROAD FROM SEPT - NOV

Councillor Cormac Devlin has advised local residents of the proposed works by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to lay new water mains along Castlepark Road. Once these are laid road re-surfacing between the junctions of Castlepark Road, Hyde Road and Breffni Road, Sandycove. This section of Casltepark Road will be temporarily closed from Monday 23rd September to Friday 15th November 2013 inclusive. He has invited local residents who wish to be kept informed about the proposed traffic diversion routes and possible water-off notices to sign up to his e-bulletin for more information. Local access will be maintained at all times however if residents wish to lodge an objection they can do so by writing to;
The Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Dún Laoghaire or email: roadmaintenance@dlrcoco.ie before 12 noon on Wed 11th of September 2013.
